What's the most distracting song to drive to?

The Most and Least Distracting Songs to Drive To

A new study claims that the most distracting song to drive to is "Hey Ya" by Outkast, and the least distracting song is "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish.

There's a British website called PassMeFast that offers driving classes although if you ask me, the name doesn't exactly suit the business.

But that's not the point. The point is that they came up with some cheesy formula that allowed them to determine the most and least distracting songs to drive to.

In a nutshell, the most distracting songs have high energy and are emotionally charged, but have low danceability which basically means an irregular beat or tempo.

And the three MOST distracting songs are:

Rank Song Name Artist Distraction Score

1.Hey Ya! Outkast 72.6%

2 Mr. Brightside The Killers 69.6%

3 Empire State Of Mind JAY-Z 69.5%

4 Take on Me a-ha 69.4%

5 Can't Stop Red Hot Chili Peppers 69.0%

6 Feel So Close - Radio Edit Calvin Harris 68.5%

7 You Give Love A Bad Name Bon Jovi 68.1%

8 Bring Me To Life Evanescence 67.3%

9 Levitating Dua Lipa 67.2%

10 Dusk Till Dawn - Radio Edit ZAYN 66.2%

The three LEAST distracting songs are:

 "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish

"July" by Noah Cyrus

"Bruises" by Lewis Capaldi.
