James Jude Courtney was the right guy to play Michael Myers in the new "Halloween" trilogy, because he has experience hanging out with LEGIT MURDERERS.
James says he prepared for an earlier role as a killer by living in a psych ward with paranoid schizophrenics who had actually killed people.
Later on, he was writing the life story of a guy who had worked as a HITMAN, and for a while they actually lived together.
And during that time, he taught James how to MURDER SOMEONE PROPERLY. His advice? "Get in, get the job done, get out." So that's the attitude he brings to his portrayal of Michael.
