Dave Grohl's drumming career all began with his TEETH.
Before he could afford a drum kit, he'd learn rhythms in his mouth and would use the pillows on his bed to represent drums and cymbals.
This talent didn't go over well with his dentist though.
Dave said, quote, "I started doing it when I was a kid . . . I was at the dentist and he's looking at my teeth . . . he says, 'Do you chew a lot of ice?' . . . I said, 'I don't think so, why?'"
Turns out, the dentist saw an unusual amount of deterioration. Dave said, quote, "I'm like, 'Oh, wait! I can play drums with my teeth!' . . . I made him put his ear close to my mouth . . . and then he kicked me out."
