Jonathan Davis of KORN and Leigh Kakatay of Popevil both test positive

Korn announced Monday (Aug. 16th) that eight concert dates will be rescheduled or canceled because Jonathan Davis has tested positive for Covid-19. The news comes just days after the band canceled their Scranton, PA show because of a confirmed case of Covid-19 “within the Korn camp.” The band wrote on Instagram, “Jonathan’s spirits are high, and he’s resting and recovering now. We’re as disappointed as you are about the circumstances, but we’ll get through it though, and we can’t wait to see you once we’re back, firing on all cylinders once again.”

The following shows are going to be rescheduled:

  • 8/14 – Scranton, PA moving to 9/25
  • 8/17 – Wantagh, NY moving to 9/28
  • 8/18 – Holmdel, NJ moving to 9/26
  • 8/20 – Hartford, CTmoving to 10/2
  • 8/21 – Mansfield, MA moving to 10/1

PopEvil’s Leigh Kakaty also tested positive for COVID-19. According to the band’s Instagram, the singer tested for the virus on Sunday (Aug. 15th) and Monday (Aug. 16th) to make sure that they didn’t cancel any shows for a false positive. Upcoming dates will be moved to the end of the tour, and they hope to be back on the road in time for the August 27th stop in Virginia Beach. The band writes that “Leigh is already feeling much better and will be back on his feet in no time."

The following dates have been postponed and moved to the end of the tour:

  • Denver, CO (8/15)
  • Des Moines, IA (8/17)
