Boat Parade details

The Tampa Bay Lightning will celebrate their second consecutive Stanley Cup championship with a boat parade and celebration event on Monday, July 12 in downtown Tampa.

Similar to last season, the Lightning will celebrate their championship with a boat parade down the Hillsborough River. Fans are encouraged to line up along Tampa’s Riverwalk to enjoy the celebration.

Following the boat parade, the party will continue at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park for a celebration event and concert.

The boat parade will start at 11 a.m. and go through downtown along the Tampa Riverwalk and finishing near Armature Works. Fans are encouraged to spread out on both sides of the river along the full route. No outside boats will be allowed to participate in the parade as fans are invited to watch via land.

After the parade, around 2 p.m., there will be a celebration event at Julien B. Lane Riverfront Park honoring the 2021 Stanley Cup Champion team including performances by Vo Williams and Big Boi. No outside coolers or chairs will be allowed. Rideshare, carpooling and public transportation are encouraged.

Fans who cannot attend the events can tune into Bally Sports Sun for celebration coverage.
