Next month, there's going to be a punk show at VFW Post #39 in St. Petersburg featuring Teenage Bottlerocket and a few other bands.
Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 day of show if you can prove you're vaccinated. For the unvaccinated, they're A THOUSAND BUCKS.
The promoter says he didn't think he could legally ban people, so this was his way around that. Quote, "We're just trying to do a show safely. And they should go out and get vaccinated to protect themselves and their families and their community."
Ray Carlisle from Teenage Bottlerocket is cool with it, too. He says, quote, "We're all vaccinated. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated so we can see you in the pit."
