DESCRIPTION: My name is Maddie. I'm not like most of the other dogs, but I am worth the investment! I arrived here from another shelter so no one can tell what I have been through. I'm heartworm positive and will need to return for my treatments. Otherwise, when they walk me on a leash, I stay right by the person but I do like to sniff. I get to greet other dogs on leash. After we meet, I turn to my human and get a treat! This helps me be a good girl. I get to play with other dogs but I like being with my person the most. I'm frightened by a lot of the new people I meet, especially men, but I warm up quickly once I learn that you give me treats, too. My dream home you ask???
