After a 10 month inverstigation involving federal wiretaps, a 64-year-old grandmother and her two sons were busted for running a drug ring out of her downtown St. Pete senior living facility, the Viridian, on Third Avenue South.
Police found SEVEN pounds of marijuana, four handguns (two of the guns were stolen in earlier heists) and numerous magazines and bullets, all hidden under her bed and closet.
Officers accused Ahmad Rashad Weston, 42, of being the ring leader, saying he often worked with his brother Charleston Shellie Long, 38, and their mother Serena Weston, 64, from inside her apartment.
