It will probably take some time before the Florida State Seminole returns to their former glory in collegiate football. But FSU is reportedly trying to launch themselves back into primetime by hiring Prime Time himself.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rappaport and Mike Garafolo, Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has emerged as a candidate for the head coaching position with FSU.
The eight-time Pro Bowler attended Florida State during the late 1980s, playing football, baseball, and track.
If hired, Sanders would replace Willing Taggart, who was recently bought out of his contract with Florida State for $18 million.
