Elon Musk wants to insert Bluetooth-enabled chips into your brain. The Tesla CEO claims these devices could enable telepathy in users, and repair motor function in people with injuries.
Musk's startup, called Neuralink, aims to build a scalable implant to eventually connect human brains with computers. Musk has already implanted chips in rats and plans to test the brain-machine interface in humans within two years.
The long-term goal is “merging with AI.”
