A 23 year old man in England named Scott Purdy broke his foot while go karting. He was prescribed the pain killer Pregabalin to help with his recovery.
According to Purdy, the drug made him DISINTERESTED in his girlfriend and all women for that matter.
That's right, he is claiming that the drug has turned him gay. His libido decreased significantly and his desire to for male attention began to intensify.
Purdy broke up with his girlfriend after 6 months and told her that he simply can't be with her because he now likes men. Although he was never interested in men before, he did admit that he was curious about it.
So be careful the next time you get prescribed any kind of medication!
