Court documents say the Fawn Fire in northern California was started because of the arson suspect boiling bear urine.
Charging documents said that 30-year-oldAlexandra Souverneva accidentally started the fire as she boiled the water with the bear urine to drink. Souverneva pleaded not guilty to arson charges this past Friday. She told authorities that it was too wet for her to start a fire to boil the pee water, but investigators say that she did successfully light it.
The fire, which ignited last Wednesday, has burned over 85-hundred acres and is 60-percent contained.
