Dominic Kolp has been officially charged with the robbery of a bakery in South Milwaukee. But how he was identified? That’s the fantastic part of the story. After the Canfora-Lakeside Bakery was robbed of approximately $200, police released a picture of the suspect they obtained from security video. From there, the bakery’s owner took a digitized image of the suspect and put it on a huge batch of cookies. The press received from the stunt put Kolp’s face everywhere, and allowed him to be recognized by a police officer who called it in. Kolp, of course, denies committing the crime and is set to be in court later this month.
