Mark Hollis, the British singer and musician best known as the lead singer of Talk Talk, has died at the age of 64.
In the 1980's, Hollis sang on hits like "It's My Life" and "Life's What You Make It". Later bands like Radiohead would cite Talk Talk as an influence, while No Doubt would cover "It's My Life" in 2003.
Hollis retired from the music business after putting out his only solo album in 1998. His manager says he died after a 'short illness'.
