This was addressed a bit earlier in the year when Zuckerberg went before the government and he played WAAAAAAAAY dumb about it. If you've seen "Social Network" and it's even remotely true he's a SHADY douchebag who cannot be trusted. And with all the online privacy controversies this year and the #DeleteFacebook movement you may be surprised to find out that simply deleting your Facebook profile will not protect you.
Here's what you probably don't know because you didn't read the "terms of service agreement".
Every Facebook profile has a public profile and a shadow profile. When you delete your Facebook page you are only deleting your public profile.Your shadow profile lives on. In other words, once it hits the internet, it's basically there forever.
Facebook owns Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
The moral of the story is, don't put anything on social media that you wouldn't want on your front lawn as it lives forever.
