The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) beat the Tennessee Titans (3-6) 20-6 Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.
The Buccaneers won the opening coin toss and, deferred, the Titans received the opening kick-off. Will Levis and the Titans marched their way downfield before Vita Vea dropped Levis on the game's first sack; Nick Folk made his 38-yard field goal attempt, giving Tennessee an early 3-0 lead over Tampa Bay. Baker Mayfield and the Bucs had their opening offensive drive stall out as Roger McCreary picked off a Mayfield pass, returning it to Tennessee's 17. At the end of the first quarter, the Titans led the Bucs 3-0.
Late in the second quarter, the Bucs scored their first touchdown of the game as Baker Mayfield connected with Rachaad White; White took it 43 yards to the house, giving the Buccaneers a 7-3 lead over the Titans with 5:39 left in the first half. The Bucs held onto their 7-3 lead over the Titans heading into halftime.
The Buccaneers took advantage of the momentum at the half and came out with points on their opening drive of the second half as Chase McLaughlin made his 25-yard field goal to extend Tampa's lead 10-3. Baker's Bucs were able to find more success, hitting Mike Evans on a 22-yard touchdown pass, extending the Bucs lead to 17-3 late in the third quarter.
The Titans got on the board early in the fourth courtesy of a 27-yard field made by Nick Folk with 12:54 left in regulation. The Buccaneers answered back with three points of their own as Chase McLaughlin tacked on a 35-yard field goal, 20-6 with 7:01 left in regulation.
