One day after his team suffered a loss in London to the Panthers, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians met with the media delivering a clear message on how his quarterback can not play again.
Because his team has lost four games this year, Arians has had to address the media the next day after watching the game film with reasons why his team was unable to record a victory. Unfortunately for Arians, the biggest reason behind two of the team's losses was exactly one of the reasons why he was brought to Tampa Bay. That reason, too many turnovers committed by quarterback Jameis Winston.
In week one against San Francisco, Winston threw three interceptions, two which were returned for touchdowns, helping the 49ers beat the Buccaneers 31-17. And this past Sunday against Carolina, Winston threw five interceptions, one on the game's first play from scrimmage. The quarterback was also sacked seven time & lost a fumble in the 37-26 loss to the Panthers.
Although Winston has thrown at least four interceptions in a game four times in his career, this is the first time he threw at least four interceptions under Arians. And the head coach still thinks Winston can be a franchise quarterback but he shared a strong thought if the quarterback had another game like he had in London.
