It's no secret that Larry David and Bernie Sanders look similar. One might think they're related, and as it turns out, they are!
While promoting the ninth season of Larry David's HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry stated that Sanders is a “third cousin or something.”
Larry discovered they were related while filming an episode of Finding Your Roots on PBS, which uses genealogical research and genetics to discover the family history of celebrities. According to Mr. David, “I was very happy about that. I thought there must been some connection.”
