No place is safe. Even in crosswalks. I know how easy it is to get wrapped up looking at your phone, but things can happen in the blink of an eye. She wasn't even looking at a phone and this happened. Please be careful out there.
As for the woman, the extent of her injuries are not known, but police say she is expected to survive. The driver was not arrested, nor issued a summons.
