Chris Cornell's Last Photoshoot Will Be Released As An NFT

Chris Cornell joined Hollywood photographer Randall Slavin for a photo shoot back in 2017. That photo session would turn out to be his last after the rock artist died by suicide in May of 2017.

NME reported that the photo shoot is entitled "The Last Session," and two of the shots from the session are now up for auction as NFTs. The photos are titled "Until We Disappear" and "White Roses For My Soul To Keep." The photos are set to go on sale Thursday, August 5th, and each of the photographs will be sold separately.

The sales website of the photograph states:
"These unquestionably unique Cryptographs titled “The Last Session” are an intimate portrayal of Chris Cornell that would ultimately prove to be the rock icon’s final photoshoot. It is has now, however, been eternalized in NFT form.
The immaculate monochromatic images were captured by Randall Slavin — the acclaimed, award-winning Hollywood photographer, collaborator and friend of Cornell."

Proceeds from the auction will benefit Phoenix House California, a charity rehab center to help individuals overcome drug and alcohol abuse.
