Florida's Back-To-School Tax-Free Holiday Ends Sunday

South Florida students may not be heading back to their school buildings, but they still need supplies and today and tomorrow they can buy them tax free. The Back-to-School sales tax holiday runs from today until midnight Sunday. Scott Shalley, President of the Florida Retail Federation-says because of remote learning, about 63-percent of families are expected to buy computers and other electronics this year, up from 54-percent last year. New to the tax-free clothing list of items costing 60-dollars or less this year--masks which will be required when and if students return to the classroom. There are now 3 ways to buy tax-free items---in the store- online or curbside.
