So 18 year old Alexander David James Grant got popped for a DUI in Dunedin. When his court day came he presented something that the judge had never seen during his career....A song. The judge described the song as very very good and told Alex he thought he had learned his lesson. The case was discharged. The court heard the song after the 18-year-old explained was he was pressured to drive by his friends to get food after a night of drinking in August last year. Grant was driving his grandmother's Nissan Sentra on August 7th when he was pulled over by the police in George St in North Dunedin. I Checked the son out....not bad.
