Advertisers paid more than $5 million for a 30-second Super Bowl ad this year- that's $175,000 a second!
Humor, as always, was front and center in many ads, and mixed in with the usual celebrities and rappers. Robots and artificial intelligence were a big theme this year.
To be honest, I felt the commercials were lackluster this year, however there were some that stood out from the pack, like for me, the NFL 100 Year at the Gala. I also enjoyed Walmart's Pick-up ad with Bumblebee, The Mystery Machine, Lightning McQueen and others.
The Avocados From Mexico spot was weird, while the Planters Peanut ad with "Kickstart My Heart" in the background and Charlie Sheen was good.
