How should the NFL handle game changing bad calls?

Replay the NFC Championship? Its not going to happen BUT what if Roger Goodell would have busted out his cell phone and overruled the horrible no call on Sunday?

There is a rule in place that gives the NFL commissioner the ability to do just that! Rule17 Section 2 Article 1.The Commissioner has the sole authority to investigate and take . . . corrective measures . . . [if any] calamity occurs in an NFL game, which the Commissioner deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics . . . that such action has a major effect on the result of the game."

And there’s Article 3"The Commissioner's powers include:  The reversal of a game's result, or the rescheduling of a game, either from the beginning, or from the point at which the extraordinary act occurred."

I personally think the commish should have AT LEAST given a game time ruling for the NFC championship game with the a Super Bowl Berth on the line.  He could have done that for the AFC championship last year as well with the "ill timed whistle" on a fumble recovery that would have sealed the deal for that game sending the Jags to the Super Bowl.  Knowing these rules are in place. How would you like to see an obviously wrong call similar to the NFC Championship No Call for pass interference handled in the future?  Some say to turn the game over to the robots and expand the booth review.  Some say not to change a damn thing.
