The holiday season is one of the happiest times of the year for Mike, Ashli and the Evans family. In December of 2020, the Mike Evans Family Foundation carried out its annual Catch for Christmas event in the Tampa area. While 2020 was a tough year for so many, we were happy to be able to take a step back and provide help for the surrounding Tampa community. With your support, we were able to provide smiles, happiness and surprises for so many in their time of need. This event is so special to Mike and Ashli because they love seeing the smiles and excitement of the children as they open their gifts!
The Buccaneers’ team mascot, Captain Fear, was accompanied by Buccaneers cheerleaders as they went door to door delivering the gifts to children. Afterwards, the children were surprised with a recorded video message from Mike and Ashli.
In addition to the holiday gifts, each family received gift cards worth $2,000, courtesy of the Mike Evans Family Foundation.
You can help Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receiver Mike Evans, his wife Ashli and their Mike Evans Family Foundation spread holiday cheer this year by participating in the first-ever Catch for Christmas online auction.
The auction opens at 8:00 am on Black Friday, Nov. 26 and closes at 6:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 3.
Proceeds go towards the Mike Evans Family Foundation’s Catch for Christmas event, where they provide holiday gifts to kids in Tampa. These kids and their families have gone through some pretty tough times, and with your help, we can give them a holiday they'll never forget.
Every purchase supports the Mike Evans Family Foundation's three main initiatives: encouraging education, empowering youth, and supporting victims of domestic violence.
