Need to call 911 but want to look nonchalant while doing it?

The federal government is asking all wireless carriers to allow customers to text emergency dispatch by the end of the year.

Aside from benefiting thumb-tapping teens who wouldn’t be caught dead using a phone the way it was originally intended, the proposed rule would make it easier for deaf and speech disabled people to communicate with emergency responders.

Who wants to put money on how many inappropriate photos and texts will end up being sent?
