According to Billboard.com, the Revolver Golden Gods awards show presented by Epiphone, America's only hard-rock and heavy-metal awards show, will return to TV on Saturday, May 24 via VH1 Classic at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

UPDATE: The show, April 23rd at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, will stream live on VH1.com and the VH1 app starting at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT. 

Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Sabbath and Korn are the top nominees for the 2014 Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which will take place April 23rd at L.A.'s Club Nokia.

•Guns n' Roses have been announced as performers, and singer Axl Rose will receive the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award.

•This year's Golden God Award will go to Joan Jett, and the 2011 winner, Alice Cooper, will present it to her.

•Korn, Zakk Wylde, A Day to Remember and The Pretty Reckless have also been announced as performers, with more to be added.

Avenged Sevenfold lead all nominees, with the group or its members up in seven of the 12 fan-voted categories, including Album of the Year. Five Finger Death Punch have six nominations, Black Sabbath five, Korn four and Queens of the Stone Age three. Go to www.GoldenGods2014.com for more details.
