See that picture of my rottweiler puppy? He looks so serene, doesn't he? He allllllmost looks like he's not a spaz.

Pictures can be deceiving.

When I ask him if he wants to go out, he breaks into a full run toward the glass lanai door. I either get the door open in time or he crashes directly into it (It's happened!).

When I get home from work at 98ROCK, he gets so excited and jumps so high that his nose touches mine (I'm 6'2"). I guess no one told him that rottweilers are generally laid back.

Despite his raucous nature, he's truly a great dog. He's almost a year old now. We will be celebrating his birthday this Wednesday. I wish we knew his exact burfday, but it's sometimes impossible in the case of a rescue.

Rest assured that he is living large and happy. He eats well, sleeps well and loves life. Can we really ask for anything else?
