Corey Taylor Visits Paralyzed Superfan In The Hospital

Stone Sour and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor visited a young fan named Aaron Foley in the hospital, who was paralyzed from the waist down after a tragic motorcycle accident. Organized by radio personality A.D., the touching moment was documented in the clip above.

On his blog, A.D. writes:

"On May 15th 2017 about 9pm, Aaron Foley was helping a friend who lost control of his motorcycle and fell off.

When he went to cross the street, he was hit by a Chevy Silverado. This left him paralyzed from the waist down, broken ribs, 2 burst lungs and a lacerated liver. Aaron is now working hard to continue to live his life to the fullest without being able to walk.

Corey's visit was intended to lift Aaron's spirits. I know it did, but I think this young man's incredibly positive outlook did more for us than we could ever hope to do for him."

After the visit, A.D. talked with Corey Taylor who described the meeting with Aaron, saying he respected his fortitude and lighthearted attitude in the face of such a terrible circumstances.

"You want to talk about dealing with something painful and life altering, that young man has the best outlook of anyone I've ever seen in that position," Taylor said. "He lifted me up just as much as I did anything for him."

A.D. called it "the greatest thing I've ever had a chance to do in radio." Listen to their chat below:
