Flashback: Listen to Chris Cornell's Personally Curated Guest DJ Station

Following the devastating news of Chris Cornell's passing, we are remembering the rocker and all of his tremendous contributions to music.

Back in 2014, Soundgarden released the deluxe reissue of their 1994 album Superunknown in celebration of the record's 20th anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, Chris personally curated his very own iHeartRadio station that includes the entire remastered album as well as some additional B-sides and exclusive content. Listen HERE or by clicking below.

On his Guest DJ station, Chris went into detail about what each song on Superunknown is about, their inspiration, and how each track was written and recorded, and facts about all of them. Like, did you know that he didn't consider "Superunkown" to be the title track on Superunknown?

"We discussed the title of the song being the title of the album, and not really wanting that. And then in the graphics, which you’ll notice if you ever bought the CD, that ‘Superunknown’ is kind of singled out on the graphics of the record because it’s in a different color. But, we didn’t want any song to be considered ‘the title track.’ So [‘Superunknown’] isn’t the title track, this is just another one of the songs."

Chris also wrote out all of the Superunknown tracks for us:

In addition to songs from Superunknown, on Chris' Guest DJ station, fans will hear music from Pearl Jam, Blur, Live, Meat Puppets, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, and more.

Fans can also listen to the Chris Cornell Tribute station on iHeartRadio to remember the late rocker.
