The Struggle Is Real.

Being a gearhead, I constantly scour OfferUp, LetGo and Craigslist for deals on cool stuff. While scanning the ads yesterday, I ran across something I'd not seen in a long time.

The old Chevy 3500 pickup truck I was checking out was a bare bones example. It had all the stuff I like; rubber floor mat, crank windows and steel wheels.

Then I saw it, a shining antiquity from the past, an AM radio. There was no FM, no CD, nothing else.

I imagined the years of labor the truck had put in. I contemplated the driver listening to Steppenwolf and Boston on that radio.

After I determined that the Cheyenne was a bit "too used" for me, I climbed back into my own truck, with its AM/FM/CD/mp3 player/USB port. I thought to myself, "Hell, there are buttons on my dash I've never even tapped". I cranked the A/C and clicked "HOME" on my GPS.
