A Tampa Interbay Rotary Initiative
The 8th Annual Cycling For Autism event is being planned for March 25, 2017! We have changed the venue to make it more interesting and to bring the event to the South Tampa area. This year the ride will be on the beautiful Courtney Campbell Causeway Bike Trail, with the start and end points at Whiskey Joe's. Registration, lunch, and activities will take place on their beach. The rides will be 40, 20, 12, and 6 miles so riders of all ages and fitness levels can participate.
This year there will be a rider registration fee of $30.00 to insure the maximum benefit to the Applied Behavior Analysis Program and the Learning Academy at the University of South Florida. In order to encourage family participation, any child 12 and under that participates in the ride does not have to pay the registration fee (just click pay by check at the end of registration).
Registration and breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. Check in, provide your waiver, get your rider number, shirt, and wristband for lunch.
8:30 AM: 40 miles
9:00 AM: 20 miles
9:30 AM: 12 miles
9:30 AM: 6 miles
Lunch service will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m., and all riders and volunteers will be provided lunch at no cost.
There will be a charge of $20.00 for attending friends and family (kids under 12 will be $10.00) that do not ride. There will be full bar service available at the Barefoot Bar to "rehydrate" with your adult beverage of choice after the ride.
