Listen to Arctic Monkeys on iHeartRadio

The Arctic Monkeys made their own contribution to all the Beatles love this weekend.

"Rolling Stone" says the British rockers celebrated their fellow Northerners Saturday night during their first headlining gig at New York's Madison Square Garden, kicking off the encore with a cover of "All My Loving."

The performance came one night before the 50th anniversary of the Beatles first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show."

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner marveled at the fact that one in three Americans reportedly watched the Beatles on TV that night, and joked that maybe if he and his bandmates were lucky "one or three Americans" might watch their performance on YouTube.
