Thrash metal band Exodus has a new yet familiar frontman.
Guitarist Gary Holt confirmed that the group recently made the "very difficult choice" to part ways with Rob Dukes. He says he and his bandmates have nothing but love and admiration for Dukes, but they thought "a change was necessary."
Holt says they've now unanimously decided to welcome back singer Steve Souza. Souza was with Exodus in the '80s and early '90s, and again between 2002 and 2004. He says that even though he's been gone for ten years, he spent a great part of his life with Exodus and "you can't erase that chemistry."
Exodus is currently recording the follow-up to its 2010 album Exhibit B: The Human Condition.
