SEMINOLE, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Deputies are investigating a hit and run crash that left a motorcyclist in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Pinellas officials say it happened Wednesday just before 10:00 p.m. in the area of Seminole Blvd. and Baypines Blvd. in Seminole.
A silver sedan driving southbound on Seminole Blvd. made a left turn on to Baypines Blvd. in front of the motorcyclist heading northbound causing the biker to hit the back of the car, according to deputies. The car continued on Baypines Blvd.
Deputies say the motorcyclist is identified as 55-year-old Randy K. Deane who was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the sedan is unknown at this time.
