ODESSA, Fla. (970 WFLA)HillsboroughCounty deputies say someone stole a race horse from stable in Odessa.

Deputies say on April 11 at 9:30 p.m. and April 12 at 7:00 a.m., unknown suspects unlawfully removed the victim's race horse “Six of Diamonds” from the stable he was renting. 

Deputies say the horse is a two year old quarter horse, grey in color, with a white strip going down the front of its face and is valued at $15,000.  Deputies said the unknown suspect(s) removed the horse, which was behind a closed gate, by using the halter that was hanging on the wall next to the horse's stable and walking the horse out. 

HCSO says the theft was discovered by one of the trainers and the owner of the horse lives in Indiana.
